Back to word lists

Now that the new mechanism of word matching is working, i thought “what better way to reward myself than redoing the word lists for the nth time”…

well this time i am cleaning them and i will spell check the lot so that there are less mistakes. Tired of all the typos repeating themselves from subtitles.

Am i going to share them? i dont know. I am spending awful amount of time and i might charge something for them… maybe a couple of quid while freely offering original lists to anyone interested in cleaning up themselves.

  1. Hi,

You might want to check out OpenOffice. It has a fantastic grammar engine with spell checker for many languages. I did an implementation in C# a few years ago, and it didn’t take more then 2 days. If you need any help, let me know.

    • thats a good idea.. I’ll definitely have a look.. with a few languages i had an easy start… open in excel and sort by alphabets and delete from a to z 🙂 but that only worked for arabic, hebrew, bulgarian, greek, ukrainian and russian.

got myself word proofing pack that contains tons of languages however it was very iffy

thank you for the idea – i have been looking at bing translator webservices. I looked at open office dictionaries a while back when i was looking for large word lists. I will check again.
